Moth Stuffed Animal

I made this stuffed moth as a gift for a friend in 2021, based on their favorite species of moth. It was my first time really getting to create an animal shape from scratch; I’ve had a fair bit of practice with a human form, but getting to explore something so completely different was a lot of fun. It was also my first time attempting a more complex drawing job on fabric, when I did the design for the wings. They’re dyed entirely by hand using sharpie, then quilted. All of the stitching except for that quilting is sewn by hand.
