Handmade Leather Slippers

I spent ten weeks in the summer of 2023 at Colonial Williamsburg as an intern in their shoemaking shop, where I learned how to make leather slippers by hand using historically accurate techniques, as well as learning how to interpret history to museum guests. The images below show all of the four and a half pairs I was able to make during my time there.
