1960’s Inspired Twelfth Night Designs

This was the final project for my 2023 costume design class. I was asked to design eight costumes for a production of Twelfth Night based on 1960s clothing. I chose to design mine as if it were set in the science fiction shows and movies that were coming out then. I took a lot of inspiration from the original Star Trek series, the illustrations of Bruce Pennington, and space age fashion designers like Pierre Cardin.
